Where are California ’s Public Schools Headed? In these critical state budget times and especially with the special election coming in November, it is imperative for us to be aware of the issues facing our children’s education. If you’re interested in staying abreast of the efforts our local PTAs and parent clubs are making on behalf of education and keeping yourself informed on the issues, get in touch with your PTA Legislative Representative, Erin Bydalek at e.bydalek@comcast.net, and participate in activities through the Las Trampas Creek Council of PTAs. Legislative Representatives from each of the schools in the Lafayette , Moraga , Orinda , Walnut Creek , and Acalanes school districts volunteer a few hours of their time a month to focus on tracking the education issues deemed most important by parents in our school communities.
