Why Parents Need to Raise Money for JMIS:

JM, and all Moraga schools, continue to face budget cuts at the local, state and federal levels. PTA fundraising is more critical than ever to keep JM a high quality school that is competitive and well equipped to meet the needs of our students. Knowing that education is of the utmost importance to our parent community, we strive to preserve and maintain the wonderful programs which JM currently offers. But we do need YOUR help…JM parents are asked to raise money to help bridge the gap between public funding and the true cost of a well-rounded, high-quality education for our students.

The JMIS PTA believes that one of the most important ways you can support your middle school student, and every middle school student is by making a financial contribution to the BUILDING ON SUCCESS 2010 campaign. This campaign is our main fundraiser and we have made a commitment to raise $60,000 to support the important programs and projects we proudly sponsor.

Every Gift Makes a Difference!

The JMIS PTA appreciates every donation made to our school, we make every effort to ensure that it's spent to benefit your student during each one of his or her three years at JM. Your student is here for a very short time so the resources you provide are spent wisely and in a timely manner. We work closely with our JM teachers and administration to identify the needs at our school and to fund them, ASAP! We keep a prioritized list of needs and when funds are available, we allocate them. 2010 Giving Levels:
There are five levels from which you can choose to contribute:

Marauder Benefactor - $1000 and above
Marauder Donor - $750
Marauder Patron - $500
Marauder Partner - $250 (Suggested Giving Level)
Marauder Mentor - $200

Parents! Please plan to participate in Building on Success 2010. Remember that while we have set the Giving Levels listed above, every gift makes a difference. Our goal is to have 100% family participation to reach our goal.
