Are you worried or curious about your child's transition to high school? This is a pivotal period in your child's social and academic development. We will talk about how to help guide your child through this transition while attending to their psychological needs and to address the changes that happen in your family as your child becomes more independent. Come here solutions to issues like: how much freedom is too much, why our children's experiences seem so different from our own and how to recognize signs that our children may be experiencing difficulty and what we can do about this.
The high school counselors will present to us issues they see at school, tips for coping with this transition and much, much more.
The high school Juniors will share first hand experiences and challenges they had as freshman.
